Cool Ways to Kill Yourself

Life Got You Down?

If you've been a little depressed lately and have contemplated partaking in the bliss of death, here are some suggestion on how to kill yourself. Even if you don't use these exclusive royalty free suicide methods, remember to do it as creatively as possible.

Don't be boring and just take sleeping pills, go out with style and flare. All these methods require some planning but don't let that dissuade you. Your life must be pretty pathetic if you're killing yourself. Why not leave a legacy?

Jumping

Here are a couple of great ways to kill yourself by jumping off a tall building, or cliff, or basically anything really high. The thing about these is that they generally work best if you can get a big crowd watching before you jump. Don't do it when there is no one around. There's just no bloody point in that.

Explosives Strapped to Your Body

Difficulty level: 7

Get a LOT of explosives. The more the better.

Hook up a detonator to an altimeter. Set it for 100-200 feet. That will give you good dispersion.

Mix vaseline and gasoline in a bucket.

Find a really tall building. Something like the World Trade Center (not anymore, but you get the idea smarty pants) is perfect and is in a sufficiently crowded area to generate the proper sized crowd.

Get an extra large trench coat, ski mask, duct tape and a very reliable wind-proof lighter. Torch lighters are best.

Bring your materials to the top of your building. Liberally apply the vaseline-gasoline mixture to your entire body. Duct tape the explosives around your legs, arms, head and torso. The more explosives you use, the better. Attach the altimeter to the explosives.

Put on the trench coat and mask so that the explosives are not visible.

Start ranting and throwing things so that you are sure to attract notice. Drag this part out as long as possible. Say anything that comes to mind but try to stay away from real problems. Your love life does not make for a good sound bite, something about trees telling you to kill yourself works good. Ask for news cameras from the major networks, so you can warn them of the coming tree invasion. Pace around while waving your arms and pointing a lot. If there are trees around, point at them.

DO NOT let on that you have explosives on your body. The police will clear the area and you definitely don't want that.

When you've gotten the crowd to a fevered pitch, when the helicopters are hovering like vultures, whip off the jacket and set yourself on fire.

Wait until you are completely engulfed in flame then jump.

Try to steer yourself towards the people in the crowd who are chanting 'jump, jump, jump'. That way flaming falling body parts will pelt them when you explode. If you used enough explosives, everyone within seeing distance will have a piece of you.

Congratulations! You've just made history. I bet it feels good just thinking about it. But don't cheer up, there are plenty of other ways to do the deed.

"Nascido em Nova York em 1928, o artista começou a carreira nos quadrinhos desenhando diferentes estilos, e foi assistente de Al Capp (autor da tirinha “Ferdinando”). Além disso, ilustrou a capa de centenas de livros, especialmente de fantasia. Ele é conhecido por ter criado o ar sombrio que marcou personagens como Conan, o bárbaro inventado pelo escritor pulp Robert E. Howard."

Artist Frank Frazetta, 82, died May 10, 2010 of a stroke in a hospital near Boca Grande FL. Frazetta is best known for his iconic illustrations for the works of Robert E. Howard — especially Conan the Barbarian — and Edgar Rice Burroughs, and was a towering figure in the SF/fantasy art field.
Born February 9, 1928 in Brooklyn, Frazetta studied at the Brooklyn Academy of Fine Arts from ages eight to 16, and began working as a professional pulp and comic illustrator as a teenager. His early work included funny animal comics,Flash Gordon, Johnny Comet, Thun’da, Buck Rogers, EC horror comics, and even a long stint ghost-drawing the Li’l Abner comic strip.
In the ’60s he began painting book covers, and soon became hugely popular among fans. He was nominated for his first Hugo Award in 1963, winning a Hugo in 1966. Other honors include a World Fantasy Award in 1976 and a World Fantasy life achievement award in 2001; Chesley Awards in 1988, 1995, and 1997; a Spectrum Grandmaster Award in 1995; and a Hubbard lifetime achievement award in 1997.
In 2008, one of his Burroughs illustrations sold for over a quarter of a million dollars at auction, and in 2009, his “Conan the Conqueror” painting sold to a private collector for $1 million. In addition to cover art, he did work for magazines, animated movies, calendars, and album covers, along with numerous fine art exhibitions.
Frazetta suffered a series of strokes in the 2000s, hampering his ability to paint. He was predeceased by his wife Ellie (married 1956, died 2009), and is survived by four children and several grandchildren.

Aguém lembra deste anúncio? Foi a última edição do Renault 4 produzida em Portugal. A ilustração foi feita por mim em aerógrafo e papel (naquele tempo, computadores só Spectrum64). O mais curioso, o preço do carro, hoje seriam uns 5.000€.

Would anyone remember this ad? It was the latest edition of the Renault 4 produced in Portugal. The illustration was made by me in airbrush and paper (at this time, computers were only the Spectrum64). The most curious, the price of the car, today would be about € 5000.

O novo-rico sofre um terrível acidente com sua Mercedes. Sai do carro
desesperado, ensanguentado, aos berros:

O guarda não se conforma e diz:
